THE RANDOM QUESTION TAG

Hey guys.... Today I have spent the whole day in bed sick, binge watching Gilmore Girls. I'm feeling a lot better now, but this morning, I was absolutely miserable! I seem to get sick this time every year, but I refuse to get flu shots as they DON'T WORK. So anyway, as I am still stuck in bed, I'm just gonna do a little tag, cuz why not?
So without further ado; THE RANDOM QUESTION TAG!

1.) Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

CLOSED. To keep the evil sock monsters inside.

2.) Do you take shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels?

I mean, I haven't been to a hotel in years, and even if I were to go to a hotel, I would probably bring my own shampoo and conditioner, so no.

3.) Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?

I have fitted sheets, and I don't have an over sheet so.....

4.) Have you ever stolen a street sign?

What kind of question is that!? "Oh, I'm so cool, look at me I stole a stop sign! Take that, loosers! hahahahahaha" 

5.) Do you cut out coupons and then never use them?

I'm 15, I don't have to worry about junk like this yet.

6.) Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees?

A big bear. Imagine trying to tell everyone that you were attacked by a swarm of bees! Mauled by a bear just sounds way cooler.

7.)Do you always smile for pictures?

Depends. Usually, yeah, but often times, it's this awkward fake smile that just says "get this over with already or I will murder someone" 

8.) Do you ever count your steps when you walk?

Sometimes, when I'm walking down the sidewalk by myself or something.

9.) Have you ever peed in the woods?

Yes. And let me tell you, us girls have it hard when it comes to this!!! Boys just zip down the zipper, and they're good to go. Us girls have to remove everything, and try not to pee everywhere!!!! (....tmi?)

10.) Do you still watch cartoons?

I watch Gravity Falls, but that's about it. Unless you count anime.

11.) Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?

In plain sight where no one would think to look. 

12.) What do you drink with dinner?

Depends on where I am I guess. Usually water or tea or something.

13.) What do you dip a chicken nugget in?

Again, depends where I'm at. Usually ketchup though.

14.) What movies could you watch over and over and still love?

Princess Bride, any Disney movie, or any Marvel movie.

15.) Were you ever a girl scout?

Nope. Never appealed to me.

16.) Would you ever strip or pose nude in a magazine?

No. I'm just not comfortable with that.

17.) Can you change the oil on your car?

What car, I'm 15, I barely know how to drive!

18.) Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?

Again, I'm 15! I've had one driving lesson in an empty parking lot with my dad.

19.) Afraid of heights?

No, not really.

20.) Do you sing in the car?

ABSOLUTELY! AC/DC comes on, my dad blares the music, we all sing along! Good times. 

21.) Is Christmas stressful?

I mean, a little. But I don't dwell on it, it's CHRISTMAS!

22.) Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid.

I wanted to be a pop star. XD or a vet

23.) Do you believe in ghosts?

Nope

24.) The first concert you ever went to.

I've never been to a proper concert

25.) Walmart, Target, or Kmart?

Target

26.) Nike or Adidas?

Neither.

27.) Can you curl your tongue?

Yup

28.) Have you ever cried because you were so happy?

Oh yeah, tons of times.

29.) The last concert you saw?

I guess the closest thing I've been to a concert was seeing the band for Paper Towns perform at the Night on the towns event that I went to.

30.) Can you swim well?

I'm okay. I used to be in swim classes like forever ago, because it was one of the only sports I could do because of my scoliosis, but I've since given it up.

31.) Can you knit or crochet?

I used to be able to crochet but I forgot how.

32.) Are you a dog person or a cat person?

I like dogs and cats, but tbh I prefer cats.

Novemeber favorites HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey guys!!!! So, I know I said that I would only be doing Gravity Falls stuff for a while, but I'm still mulling over some different ideas. So until then, let's just do a monthly favorites!

Okay, so I still suck at makeup to no end, BUT lately, I've been OBSESSED with all things regarding eye makeup. I could seriously look like I just rolled out of a dumpster, but my eye makeup would still be on point.


DOCTOR WHO.  In my opinion, the current doctor is the best we have had in a LONG time, and the current season is the best plot we've had in a long time!!!! This new season has been so true to classic who, and I just love it to death!!!!!!! I LOVE the current doctor, and I am loving the plot of doctor who currently!!!!! Last season, I'll admit was pretty rubbish. But this season has seriously stepped up to the plate. I LOVE IT and I cannot wait to see the Christmas special, as RIVER SONG IS IN IT!!!!! KAJSDFLKAO;WF;


THE WEATHER! Um..... guys, something's happening to my laptop... It's really being......

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!!! BILL CIPHER HERE!!!!!!!! I'LL BE TAKING OVER THE BLOG FROM HERE. SO SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE!!!!!

GRAVITY FALLS :(

As you gravity falls fans may or may not already be aware, Gravity Falls is coming to an end. The second to last episode aired last night, and I'll be the first to admit; I cried. I am sure that the last episode will be even more tear jerking so odds are, I'll be a hot mess when that one airs. Afterwards, I'll probably be curled up in a ball on my bed crying and going "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S OVER!!!!!!!"
If you can't tell, I am EXTREMELY emotionally invested in this show. It has full on changed my life. I am going to miss it more than any show that has ever been canceled or ended in my time. I have watched Gravity Falls since the very first episode aired back in 2012. I have laughed, cried, yelled, and conveyed other ways of expressing deep emotion with the Pine's twins. They have become a part of my life; they have become my best friends.
I know that sounds super cheesy, but I mean it!!! There's something about this show that I can't quite describe to people who are not members of the fandom. People looking in on the fandom probably think "Oh that's such a cute show for kids or whatever, not really my thing." I thought the same thing before sitting down to watch the airing of the first episode with my little brother.
The Pine's twins are like old friends to me. I started watching the show when I was 12; Dipper and Mabel's age! I am turning 15 in a couple of days. I feel very close to the Pine's twins for this reason. I can't really explain my personal connection to this show, but as it comes to an end, I feel like a part of me is dying. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to my best friends.
So in honnor of Gravity Falls coming to an end, I will be posting Gravity Falls stuff, and nothing but Gravity Falls stuff until the release of "Weirdmagegdon 3" so that we can cherish the summer while it lasts; before it comes to an end.

October favorites

So..... I'm kind of the worst when it comes to blogging every day as you know.... Sorry about that.... School just kind of took over my life and I 100% forgot to write letters to my dear friend autumn.... maybe next year I'll make it up to you guys.
So anyway, I know it's a tad overdue, but here it is; my October monthly favorites!!!!!


(So sorry about the size, it won't let me adjust it for some odd reason)
The fist thing that I want to talk about is ORGANIC DIPPING POWDER! I have recently grown a love for fingernails, and OMG if you have never tried the organic dipping powder, you need to find a salon that does it and try it out. It is literally the best thing ever!!! There's no UV lights, no damage to your nailbeds, they don't chip (At least not easily), and they last a REALLY long time!!!!! I'm in love with these nails!



The next topic of discussion, is obviously, my queen, the one, the only, ADELE. If you have not listened to her new song "Hello" First of all, how dare you, second of all, how have you not heard it by now, and lastly, HERE'S THE LINK, LISTEN TO IT NOW: Adele - Hello - YouTube

Now that you've listened to it, OMG. My queen does not disappoint. She is SO undeniably talented! After taking a break from music for a while to raise her kid, I cannot think of a better comeback song than this. I have listened to it countless times, and cried practically every single time.



Next thing is pretty cool; STAR WARS COFFEE CREAMERS!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for when your coffee's a bit on the... dark side. (Pun 100% intended) Any way, recently, this is all I've been using in my coffee!!! Every day, without fail, I will make a cup of coffee for myself in a thurmous just before I go to school, and sip on it all through my first class. It's quite a good system I have going. My favorite of these creamer of these has to be Chewbacca!



Naturally I have to mention my current favorite anime! Right now, that's black butler!!!! I'm just abut to finish season 1 and I LOVE IT! Very well written, phenomenal plot, and btw Sebastian is MINE.


And lastly, the book that I am currently writing!!! I created a board on pinterest about my book to in a way help me visualize iconic moments in the book. I don't take this file seriously at all, it was kind of something I just pulled together when I was bored. But I am rather proud of the book itself. Maybe I'll post it when it's done. :)

Letters to autumn day 4

Dear autumn,

It occurs to me that it is not at all a common thing that people write to you... Oh well, I'm sure that you do in fact enjoy hearing from the few people that do write to you.
Today was another beautiful day weather wise. The perfect day to get my nails done with my friend.
But today, autumn, I would like to talk to you about the loose concept of time. In my case, I am finding that I am always running out of it. Before I get to into this, I would like to express that time is only a concept... There is really no further way for me to explain that. Someone had to sit down one day and figure out how time worked and could be measured tangibly. And autumn, I find that much too often, I am running out of time. Which doesn't make sense when you think about it, because there is ALWAYS 24 hours in a day, no matter where in the world you live. Every one is given the same amount of time in a day, so why does it seem that some days are abundant in time and others seem to be spread thin to the point of there being no time leftover at all?
The answer is simple. Activity. I find myself constantly having thing after thing that I have committed to. And on top of that, having to spend time on the basics of day to day life, I hardly find myself with any time at all left in the day once it's over.
So autumn, as you bring with you the end of a year, and my time quickly accelerates into an oblivion, thank you for staying for the exact same amount of time every year, even though it may not always feel like it.

Letters to autumn day 3

(Before I start, I would just like to announce that I have 1,300 page views!!!! I promise I will post a video soon, but probably not for a while, for personal reasons.)

Dear autumn,

Overall, I rate today an 8 out of 10. Not the best day, but I choose to be optimistic, considering that it could most defiantly be worse. And I don't think it's fair to let one bad event ruin a day full of really fantastic moments.
For every bad event, I like to try to find 2 positive events to over weigh the bad, making me feel a bit better about life.
For example, today, I got grounded. My laptop and cell phone are not allowed in my room until I bring my grades up as I am failing a few classes. On the positive side, I am still allowed to use these devices, just not in my bedroom, and not without permission from my parents. Also, the weather is phenomenal today. Thanks, autumn!
I can imagine that if it were winter right now rather than autumn, I would most defiantly not want to be as optimistic. Like the friends I hang around, the weather strongly influences my mood about life in general.
A lot of the time, I like to think that I am rather optimistic, and in most cases, I am. But when it comes down to it, it's very easy to think that absolutely nothing is going my way, and that I am all alone in the world. But with the delightfully happy mood that you bring every year, I am reminded that I have friends and family who love me dearly, and would genuinely do anything for me.
Also, as you come around, you remind me that it is very close to the end of another year, and also very close to my birthday. This reminds me that life is too short to stop and dwell on the small little things in life that don't go the way that you planned. It is for this reason that you are one of my favorite parts of the year, autumn. You bring joy into my life, and remind me that even though it is the end of another year, it is not the end of the world.

Letters to autumn day 2

Dear autumn,

Today, I am feeling a bit better. Just a bit. I no longer feel like a turtle abandoned on its back, but rather like someone had come along and rolled me over, back onto my feet as if to say, you can do it, Amy. Not 100% quite yet, but I'm getting there.
I figured that I had spent enough time cooped up inside, and that it wasn't making me feel any better, so I managed to get outside today. It was quite nice out, lovely weather. Thanks, autumn.
It's always nice to get out on a nice day, even if you have nothing planed. Just a nice walk around the neighborhood, or even to a local park. It brings joy to my heart. I do wish that I felt better so that I could enjoy the weather a bit more; maybe go for a run, but sadly, I cannot. Still coughing up a storm, and can hardly breath through my nose at all.
So, tea and more rest for me today; maybe watch some YouTube, and some Netflix, and get a bit of writing done in my book today as well.
I've recently gotten the idea for a new book that I'm very exited about, but it seems as though I have started it 20 different times and have still not quite found the right way of approaching the idea. After a while of trying though, I think I've finally gotten it right. That is a wonderful feeling; getting it right.
You see autumn, today, I have been very inspired. Getting outside and forcing myself to be happy, and out there in the world, doing something even if that something is just swinging on the swings at a local playground, has really inspired me to get some work done, despite me being sick in bed.
So I am in the process of recovering; physically and mentally. And autumn, you are making it so much easier to do that.
The nice weather has inspired me not only to work on my book, but to be more active. Living in Texas, your overbearing, stuck up, full-of-himself brother, summer, has taken over, making everyone feel like they can't do anything. Why even bother? Mean old summer's got me beat. But now that you're here, autumn, I can finally go out and run, without feeling like I'm drowning in the heat. Once I recover, I'm going to get in the habit of running every day.
I'm on the journey to recovery. And every journey begins with the first step. Mine just happens to be the step out of my own bed.

Letters to autumn

So, pretty recently, one of you guys suggested that I watch Carrie Hope Fletcher on YouTube. So I looked her up, and she is AMAZING! She did this thing on her channel last year called "letters to autumn" Which I thought was absolutely an astounding concept, and wanted to do it this month.
If you have never heard of Carrie Hope Fletcher, I'll link you guys to her letters to autumn videos at the end. :)
So, basically, what I'm going to be doing is every day this month, I am going to write a letter to autumn. Sorry for the late start, I have been sick for a couple of days.

Dear autumn,

Long time no see old friend. It's hard to believe that it's been a whole year since we've last spoken. Oh how I love this time of the year. You bring with you such beautiful sights.
Such wonderful sounds.


The most wonderful smells


Delightful tastes



And the most wonderful feeling of sheer happiness that I lack the words to describe.


But as always, you also come with drastically different weather. Don't get me wrong; I love your weather. The cold air that's not so unbearably cold that I'm shaking, but not so warm that I 'm melting. Just so slightly cold that I can cuddle up in a giant sweater with a nice cup of tea.
But with this drop in the weather usually comes the thing I dread more than anything else; sick days. That's right autumn, today I am sick. Stuck in bed like a helpless turtle stuck on its back.
I can't breath through my nose, and I've ingested so much green tea that it may as well replace my blood in running though my veins. I'm absolutely miserable.
And the worst part is that I'm completely helpless. I feel as though I can manage to do nothing for myself because in any attempt, I will end up laying down in a coughing fit.
Also, it seems such a waste to spend such a beautiful day trapped inside. I'm sorry autumn, for wasting such a lovely day.
I suppose having a cold is a small price to pay for my favorite season, though. And seeing as how practically all of my friends are sick as well, it was only a matter of time before I caught what was going around.

September favorites

Hello everyone!!!! Seeing as I now have some time to just sit and write my blog with no distractions, I figured I would go ahead and do this month's monthly favorites!!! Let's get started!

So the first thing has got to be gravity falls! I have loved gravity falls since the very first episode when it aired 2 years ago, but I have only just recently rekindled my love for it in picking up the most recent season.


PARAMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think this was in last month's monthly favorites, but I don't care, I freaking love this band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite song by them right now is currently "Brick By Boring Brick." I'm kinda sad though, cause some punk stole my earbuds at school, and now I can't listen to music in school. :(


Fan fictions!!!! My friend is letting me read her Lord of the Rings fan fiction, and it is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! I'm obsessed. It's making me want to reread LOTR... again. My favorite character, Legolas, is a HUGE part of her fan fiction, and it makes me SO HAPPY!!!!

GLOBAL GOALS!!!! If you haven't heard about the global goals, read this blog post uploaded by my friend. She does an AMAZING job at explaining exactly what it is.

This one isn't really a favorite thing as much as it is something that I love about the way I'm choosing to do with my life. I am very happy that thanks to all the support of my friends and family, I am embracing a drastically healthier lifestyle! This may not seem like much of a big deal, but looking back now, I genuinely cannot believe some of the things that I had been putting in my body. If you are passionate about eating healthy, or you would like to know more about it, I would like to recommend an amazing documentary on Netflix called "Fed Up." My friend recommended it to me, and it has definitely helped me realize that I should change the way I eat.


The book that I am writing!!!! (Both of them actually...) I am currently writing 2 different books. One is a realistic fiction that I am writing with my friend, and the other is a fantasy that I am writing all by my lonesome. :) I love them both so much!!!! The characters in both of them are absolutely amazing.

AUTUMN!!!!!!!!!! IT IS OFFICIALLY AUTUMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW I CAN'T EVEN!!

GRAVITY FALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, I'm going to do another tag about my current obsession; Gravity falls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (aka the best cartoon ever)  Yes, I know I've been doing a lot of tags lately, but what with school and all, I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for blog posts.



1.) How old were you when you started watching the show?
I was 12! Which is absolutely amazing, because Dipper and Mabel were 12 when the show first aired! (Which... I guess they still are 12 seeing as their summer is still going on...) But yeah, Gravity Falls will always have a special place in my heart for that reason. I have loved this show since it first aired, but I have only just recently rekindled my love for the show. :) I've forgotten how amazing it is!

2.) How did you find out about this show?
I suppose I was still watching Disney channel and Disney XD ad this point, so I saw commercials for it and thought it was amazing.

3.) What was the first episode you watched of Gravity falls?
As I said, I've been a fan since the very first episode. :) And it just keeps getting better!

4.) What was your first reaction?
I thought it was kind of cute at first, and thought it was a nice change in cartoon quality from the trash they've been making on Disney and Disney XD.

5.) How did you find out about the codes?
I'm still finding out about some of them as I rewatch episodes, but if I think there may be a hidden code in an episode, I usually google it.

6.) Who is the real villain of Gravity Falls?
BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY BILL!!!!!


7.) How do you imagine the final episode?
OMG I NEVER WANT THIS SHOW TO END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I guess if it had to end, after Bill fails to destroy the world, HE DIES AND DIPPER AND MABEL GET TO STAY WITH STAN AND FORD FOREVER AND THEY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER THE END!

8.) What will you do when the show ends?
Cry for a thousand years, and then rewatch all the episodes, crying through each one.

9.) What do you like and hate the most of the fandom?
I love that we are a very creative fandom that tries to find hidden secrets in a fantastic show, but I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SHIP DIPPER AND MABEL. THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER. No. Just no.

10.) How many years do you think the Gravity Falls Fandom will last?
FOREVER.

11.)  Do you like the term Fallers?
I've never really heard of this term, therefore I have never called myself a Faller. I personally wish that we could come up with a better and more creative name to call our fans, but for now, I guess I like having something to refer to the fans as.

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite holiday is quickly approaching! I will most defiantly post a Halloween blog post later on closer to the holiday, but as of now, I would like to do this quick little Halloween tag that I found!

1.) What is your favorite Halloween movie?
"It's the great pumpkin charily brown" is a family classic that we watch every year! I love my family traditions. :)


2.) On a scale of 1-10, how much do you enjoy Halloween?
2 million!

3.) What is your fondest Halloween memory?
I have tons. One of my favorite memories is my first Halloween that I celebrated with my best friend. (Last year) We were zombies! It was absolutely amazing.

4.) Have you always been a Halloween lover?
Actually, when I was really little, my parents wouldn't let me celebrate it because they thought it was too scary... and it was. Not the monsters, or the dark or anything, it was the sketchy teenagers in our neighborhood.

5.) How do you get into the Halloween spirit?
I set up some decorations, figure out my costume, and run around in halloween stores looking like an idiot. :) Also, and most importantly, PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES!!!!

6.) Favorite Halloween decorations?
Carving pumpkins is amazing, but I like motion sensing decorations to scare the kids that walk past my house.

7.) Favorite Halloween/ fall sent?
You know that piney scent that has like a hint of pumpkin? I absolutely love that smell!

8.) Favorite candy?
I know this is basically straight up sugar which is why I don't eat it much, but candy corn is my weakness!

9.) Vampires or zombies?
Zombies! Bring it on, slow dead guys!

10.) What is your weird/ odd fear?
......I don't know. I'm slightly afraid that my stuffed animals will come to life at night and kill me... That's why they stay on the highest shelf in my room.

11.) Last but not least, do you believe in ghosts?
No.

The bookworm tag!!!!

Hey everyone!!!! Time for another tag!!!! Today, I'll be doing the bookworm tag! :)

1.) Do you remember how you developed your love for reading?
When I was really little, every night before I went to sleep, my mom would read me a chapter of one of her favorite books as a child. I remember her reading "The little princess" "secret garden" and "The little house on the prairie."

2.) Where do you usually read?
I like to read in my bed, curled up with a cat, in a comfy sweater, drinking coffee, while it's raining. *sigh* the thought of that makes me genuinely happy.

3.) Do you prefer to read one book at a time or several at once?
I prefer to read one at a time, though I often find myself reading 10 books at once and wondering what happened...

4.) What is your favorite genre?
Oooooohhh... I love all genres, though I love a good fantasy most of all.

5.) Is there any genre that you will not read?
I don't know... I find some biography's, autobiography's, and memoirs to be a bit boring, but then again, some of them are quite amazing!

6.) Do you have a favorite book?
This is the hardest question ever! I don't really have a favorite book...

7.) What is your least favorite book?
I don't really know... For me, if I don't like a book all that much, I read about half way through, and if I still don't like it, I stop reading it all together.

8.) What is the longest book you have ever read?
I genuinely have no idea....

9.) What is the last book you bought?
 "The scorch trials." That was over a month ago. I finished it over a month ago. :) I thought it was pretty good.

10.) Do you prefer library books, or buying books?
If I have the money, I prefer to buy my books! Books are a beautiful thing that should be personal to every individual reader! If I get angry at a book, I want to be able to throw it without worrying about breaking it and having to pay for it. If I see a part I love, I want to be able to circle it in pen. I also have a habit of reading in the bath tub, so yeah... library books are not the best way to go for me.

11.) What are you currently reading?
......I may or may not be rereading "city of bones." The mortal instruments is a fantastic series! Even though I have a list of a million other different books I should read, I find myself feeling super nostalgic and wanting to reread one of my favorite book series again.

12.) Where do you buy your books?
Usually half price books or barns and noble.

13.) Do you ever pre-order books?
Not usually... I prefer to have the experience of buying it in a store.

14.) How many books do you buy a month?
I usually end up having to go to the library to get books because I don't have the money.... so not very many.

15.) How do you feel about second hand charity shop books?
I love them! Often times, I find myself with millions of books that I don't read anymore, so it's nice to have a place to give them to. Also, if I'm in need of an older book (because I absolutely love a good classic) I usually go to one of these first.

16.) Do you keep your read and to-be-read books together?
Yeah. My books are not really that organized. Though, I do keep my favorite books that I like to reread on the shelf of my nightstand.

17.) Do you plan to read all the books you own?
This is a goal of mine, yes.

18.) What do you do with books you own that you know won't be re-read?
I either keep them anyway to remind myself of when I read that series, or I'll give it to a friend or something.

19.) Have you ever donated books?
Yup. I usually take them down to half price books or something.

20.) Have you ever been on a book buying ban?
No, I don't think so.

21.) Do you think you own too many books?
I think for a bookworm, I own a very reasonable amount of books.

August favorites

So, it's now the 11th, and I'm just now realizing that I forgot to do a monthly favorites post... sorry about that. So without any further ado, I present to you my august favorites!!!!

Tyler Oakley's auguest!!!!!! My friend recently got me into Tyler Oakley's videos, and I love them!!! I really enjoyed this last auguest. I honestly don't know which collab was my favorite.

Once upon a time! I'm currently on season 3, and I'm loving it! It defiantly takes an interesting twist on well known fairy tales.


Paramore! I never thought I'd be into this style of band (the style being punk...) but I really love it! I'm actually listening to paramore right now...


Autumn!!!!! I seriously can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! Pumpkin spice lattes are now for sale, therefore it is autumn. Simple math really. September is really when Halloween season starts for me, and I love it!!!!!!!!!! I Just adore pumpkin spice lattes, but I recently discovered that I'm lactose intolerant, so I'll have to ask for soy milk in my latte... Oh well!!!

#TBT throwback Thursday!

So, I found this tag, and I thought, well today's Thursday, so why not?!?!? :) Time for a little #TBT.

Before I get started, one of my friends just started a blog! It would mean a lot to me and to her if you'd like to go check it out!!!!!!!! Here's the link: Tick-toc girl blog

1.) What year were you born in?
I was born in the year 2000, which I think is pretty awesome,because the year being 2015, this year I will turn 15!  I just think that's kinda cool.

2.) Do you have any pictures of yourself from when you were younger? If you do, show them.
I actually have tons!

I was a cute little kid!

3.)What TV shows did you grow up watching?
Dora the explorer, blue's clues, Maggie and the ferocious beast, just about anything on Noggin, Between the lions, max and ruby, and so many other things!!!!!!!!!! That was the life!


4.) What did you want to be when you grew up and do you still want to be that?
When I was little and was watching Hannah Montana, I used to want to be a pop star! Then I wanted to be a vet, and then a singer again, and then I realized my true passions: art, writing, and acting!

5.) Show a video of yourself from when you were younger!
I didn't have recording devices and social media when I was really little! I come from a childhood of flip phones, and talking face to face!

6.) What were your favorite toys to play with?
I would play with just about anything, but I LOVED my Barbies. I would sometimes make them outfits out of socks or something, and put on little fashion shows.
 
This image is a bit blurry, but this is the EXACT Barbie house I had growing up! Seeing it in picture form is giving me all kinds of nostalgia!!!!!!!!!!!

7.) What is the most embarrassing thing you remember doing?
I remember in painstaking detail this one time in pre-school at my church, I was playing with baby dolls. And this boy walked by, and I invited him to play dolls with me. He said "No, I'm a boy... boys don't play with dolls." and I just looked at him weird, shaking my head. His hair was REALLY long, so in my mind, he was a girl. and I remember saying "No! You're a girl. Look at your hair! You're a girl!" ............I was like 4, okay?

8.) Read something that you wrote when you were in kindergarten.
I don't have anything from kindergarten, but I do have some stuff from first grade! (I will be writing it exactly how I had it spelled on the paper, but I will write the actual word in parenthesis.)

"Once a pon (upon) a time, thar (there) was a shoe on a mowton (Mountain). The shoe was yodling (yodeling) and when he was yodling (yodeling) on the mowton (mountain), an avalanche came and the shoe fell, and fell, and fell, lower, and lower."

I remember being genuinely proud of this writing.... look how far I've come!!!!!

9.) Three songs you loved to listen to as a child.
The Dora the explorer theme, "Nobody's perfect" By Hannah Montana (Interesting fact: did you know that Miley Cyrus said... and I quote, 'Being Hannah Montana was like a living hell for me.' She hated everything about it.) and anything from the little mermaid.

10.) What was one funny thing you dressed up as for Halloween when you were younger?
Albert Einstein! Long story...

11.)  Tell a funny story of something you remember happening when you were young.
I remember this one time when my mom gave me a carrot to eat. So I put it in my mouth, and I chewed on it for lord knows how long, and then eventually, I spit it out as a completely dry pile of orange sawdust on the carpet in the hallway!

12.) Are there any special things you've kept from when you were a child?
I still have my baby blanket, and a teddy bear that I got while I was in the hospital that one time when I had to get stitches on my forehead (I was about 3-4), and about a dozen other stuffed animals, all with their own story.

13.) What was something weird you used to do as a child?
I used to rub whatever I was eating in my hair! Not even kidding. Whatever it was that I was eating, it was going in my hair. Every time.

14.)  What's the scariest thing you remember that happened to you when you were younger?
I remember my grandma setting me down on a ledge at the zoo, and I was crying, because I thought I was going to fall in. I still had nightmares about it, until a couple years ago when I realized.... it was a bird cage.... they had a wire fence right behind me...... *face palm*

15.) How is the world now different from how it was like when you were a child?
The world is a lot scarier now! I have to constantly be thinking about my future, what I want to do with my life, what collage I want to go to, money, jobs, and chaotic stuff like that. If I could go back in time, I would tell young me to enjoy my childhood more, because I had it good, and that won't last forever!

Brain Dump!

So, today I'm going to do something new! This is a thing that I like to call a brain dump. This is where you just start writing, and don't think at all. It may not make any sense at all, but it helps get all of the chaos out of your mind, thus giving you a bit more room to think about your writing. So, let's do it!

The yellow man was a curious one. Unlike the purple man or the green man or even the blue man, the yellow man wondered why. Why yellow? Of all colors, why yellow? Did it represent something? Did the universe know that he disliked the color yellow and just hated him? Of all the colors in the world, why yellow? The yellow man took matters into his own hands and coated himself in a bucket of a mysterious liquid, a liquid that the witch said would change his color forever, which was completely unheard of. The yellow man took the bucket in his hands and dumped it on his head, letting the liquid cover him completely. He looked in the mirror, and he was shocked to find that he had no color at all! He was just a blank canvas of no color. He had now wished more than ever that he had just accepted his yellowness rather than trying to change who he was.

.......I have no idea what I just wrote, but I know that writing it was very therapeutic! If you're a writer and you're currently struggling with writers block, I highly recommend doing something like this! Though it makes no sense, and is not at all a good piece of writing, it is very therapeutic, and requires minimal to no thinking at all!

Rant fest day 1

Hey guys! I'm trying too post as often as I can, what with school and everything, so sorry if there are long and uneven gaps between my posts. :/ Also, sorry if I don't post fan art as often as I should be... I haven't had much time to draw lately. Any way, I found this thing on Facebook (yes Facebook) where you basically name a topic and just rant about it for a while! So I thought that this might be a fun segment on this blog! If you guys want to send me some recommendations of what I should rant about in future rant fests, I would LOVE that!
Any way, today's rant fest is going to be about types of fangirls that annoy me. I love being a fangirl, but these particular fangirls give us a bad name.

The chipmunk. As much as I love enthusiastic fangirls, this fangirl is a little too enthusiastic. They will freak out at the mention of their fandom. They will laugh hysterically at even the worst of jokes related to their fandom. They don't talk about anything other than their fandom. Ever. And it's annoying. This fangirl will literally make everything and anything about their fandom. Even if it's completely irrelevant. This is the kind of fangirl that you regret telling that you are a fan of this fandom.... they are suffocating you constantly with their enthusiasm.

The titanic. This is the fangirl that will ship anything... to the point of some of their ships are totally ridiculous and don't even make sense. These are the fangirls that will ship... say... Sam and Dean. Like..... guys..... they're brother's for crying out loud. Their ships are destine to sink... like the titanic. For real...... I find it annoying when people ship couples that don't even make sense.

The Venus flytrap. This is the fangirl that can't take even the smallest insult. Like... I get being angry when someone insults your fandom, but it's just their opinion. That or they're just trying to get under your skin. This fangirl takes it personally, and will explode in your face. They are fully convinced that their fandom is better than any other, and if anyone suggests other wise, they will yell, they will scream, they will cry, they will fight, they will wish that you had just kept your mouth shut.

The stalker. This is the fangirl that thinks that they are going to marry a celebrity that they have a crush on. Sorry to break it to you guys, but Benedict Cumberbatch.... he's married and has a son.... so yeah. This fangirl acts like they own the person, like he's an inanimate object. These fangirls creep me out more than they annoy me. (sorry any 1D fans out there) But directioners are the worst about this!!!!!!!!!! They are the most annoying and creepy stalker fangirls out there. (In my personal opinion.)

The dinosaur. These are the fangirls who have been a part of the fandom since the dawn of time, and think that any younger fans are inferior. They think that the younger fans don't know as much about the fandom because they haven't been around as long, and they don't qualify as a "real fan." Classic who fans are the worst about this! They think that all fans who have started from the reboot don't qualify as real fans. This ties into my next fangirl type.

The infants. The ones who think they are so totally obsessed with a particular fandom..... but they haven't watched it from the beginning. Or they only watched the movie. It's like watching supernatural starting from season 9 and saying that you are so obsessed. Or watching doctor who from the reboot and saying you know everything. Or the most annoying of all, SKIPPING OVER THE 9TH DOCTOR IN DOCTOR WHO AND SAYING THAT YOU LOVE IT AND THEN STOPPING WATCHING COMPLETELY WHEN PETER CAPALDI BECOMES THE DOCTOR BECAUSE HE'S "TOO OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" THE CHARACTER IS 2,000 YEARS OLD!!!!!!! WHO GIVES A CRAP IF HE'S ATTRACTIVE OR NOT!????!??!?!?!!? *sigh* sorry, got a bit passionate there.

The rich kids. These are the fangirls that think they're superior because they've been to more concerts, or they went to meet the actor at comicon, or they got a signed copy of a book or whatever. They think they're the better fan because they have all this merch and stuff, but what this fangirl doesn't realize is that the other fans would love all this stuff.... they just don't have the money.

Superwholock tag

So, I almost have 1,000 page views but I still haven't posted for 900.... sorry about that! Things have been a bit chaotic with school starting and what not, so I'm just going to do a little 30 question superwholock tag!!!


1.)What fandom did you first join?
Out of the 3, the first I joined was doctor who. Then Sherlock, then supernatural. :)

2.) Favorite sherlock ship?
Johnlock!

3.) Favorite supernatural ship?
OKAY EVERYONE DON'T HATE ME PLEASE! I don't really ship Destiel all that much. I mean, they would be a cute couple and all, but I don't really think they have chemistry. I don't really know.

4.) Favorite doctor who ship?
Jenny and vastra probably. or river and 11. I'm sorry guys, but I hate Rose with a burning passion! I don't deny that she and 10 had major chemistry, but that was a crisis for new who. I get it, and it's kind of cute and all that Rose was the one to remind him how to love and all, but I absolutely hate Rose, and if the doctor were actually to date someone, it would be someone a lot more intelligent, like River Song! (Tiny rant there)

5.) Companion, blogger, or angel?
Companion!

6.) favorite episode of supernatural?
Probably "Mystery spot" or "Changing channels" or really any episode with Charlie! Best character in the show.


7.) Favorite episode of doctor who?
Probably blink

8.) Favorite episode of sherlock?
Signs of three I just adore sherlocks best man speech!

9.) Favorite lead characters?
Dean for sure, Sherlock, and Donna noble. I guess pretty much all of my favorite characters are badass sarcastic geniuses. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

10.) Favorite quote from supernatural?

11.) Favorite quote from sherlock?
"what is it like in your funny little heads? it must be so boring." -Sherlock Holmes

Donna Noble! Without a doubt, Donna noble!

Demons. Simple, and straight to the point, easy to kill.

I have no idea... should I have favorites? Next question.

16.) The TARDIS, the Impala or 221B?
Most definatly the TARDIS, but if Sam and Dean came by my house in the Impala, don't think for a second I would hesitate to go with them! Sure, I'd be scared out of my mind, but it would SO be worth it.

17.) Favorite actor/ actress from doctor who?
Hmm.... this is a hard one. Probably David Tennant.

18.) Favorite actor/ actress from Sherlock?
BENIDICT CUMBERBATCH NO QUESTION! MOVING ON.

19.) Favorite actor/ actress from supernatural?
Either Jensen Ackles, or Felicia Day.

20.) Moment you knew you loved supernatural?
"Dad's on a hunting trip...and he hasn't been home in a few days."

21.) Moment you knew you loved Sherlock?
"The name's Sherlock Holmes and the address is 221B Baker Street."

"Run!"

23.) Favorite character between Sam, Dean, and Castiel?
THIS IS SO HARD! I guess I'm gonna go with Dean tho. He's just the best.

Okay, this question makes me slightly angry, because even though classic who isn't quite as popular to out generation, I still feel like classic who is amazing, and we shouldn't be leaving them out of this! Also, what about Peter Capaldi!?!??!?! Any way, out of the 3, 10 would be my favorite. But expanding the question, 4 is my favorite doctor.

#HAPPYBLUEBIRTHDAYSEAWEEDBRAIN!!!!!!

Today is Percy Jackson's birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And (Prepare to squeal like an idiot and cry a little) ......he's 22 today.  I'm not kidding. He was born August 18th, 1993. Just take a moment to let that sink in.... He and Annabeth are probably married by now, living their life together. (I actually just started crying....)
I think that some time later today, I'll work on some Percy Jackson fan art! maybe we could hit 900 Page Views today, and I'll post it! right now we have 882. We can do it, guys! :) That's really all I wanted to talk to y'all about in this post. Enjoy celebrating Percy's birthday!
